実践ビジネス英語：Lesson 9 360-Degree Feedback (2)

360度フィードバックについて悩む・きく。これも学習の一環。その発想がいいなぁ。なかなか言えない。メンター制度をもつがゆえ、これらについての価値感も高いのかも。

360度フィードバック自身が、本人の長所・短所を自身が理解するための助けとしてが主というのはイメージと違ってて驚いた。業績評価をする場合には、回答者・本人ともに理解したうえで、無記名で行うとか。なるほどなぁ。

これまでで一番緊張したスピーチかもしれない。
日本語で難しい・まとまりきれてない内容は、英語でも難しく。。。言語変わっても、話すことには変わりないからあたりまえですね。

時間をかなりオーバーしたのですが、まわりに励ましてもらえてなんとかという状況。

前回よりも、はっきりと反対の意を伝える表現。

英語もためになるが、最後のEriko's Memoのビジネスの中でとるべき態度？が自身に響く。毎度ながら、濃い8ページ/15分です。

フレーズ1

• I wouldn't do that
  • 私だったらそうはしません　（それはしないほうがいいと思います）

Don't do that. と命令形で言うと、横柄な印象を与えてしまう。

• I wouldn't do that if I were you.
  • それはどうでしょうか？
• I wouldn't go there
  • 私だったらそこには行きません。

アクセントを I に置くのか、 THAT に置くのかで、ニュアンスが変わる。

フレーズ2

• I can't agree with that.
  • 今言われた事に賛成できません。

関谷さんの回は、日本語が多く明快なコーナーに感じれて、ホッできる。でもこの2フレーズはちゃんと毎回覚えないといけない。

フレーズ1

• I dont' think we should decide today.
  • I don't think we should decide this by voting.
  • I don't think we should jump to conclusions.

... Brandon's not here. のように理由を続ける。

We don't decide よりも、やわらかい表現になる

やんわりと、はっきり反対であることを伝える表現

フレーズ2

ちょっとした懸念を伝えるときに使う

• I'm not sure if we should do that.
  • どうだろうか。
  • それをすべきか確信が持てません。

• I'm not sure about that.
• I'm not sure if that's feasible

続いて、反対の根拠を論理的に伝えれると良い

頭ごなしに反対するのは、あまりスマートではない。
